Talk/performance on Joni Mitchell’s Hejira at Wilton’s Music Hall for Poet in the City

In just under a month's time I will be talking about & performing some of my research on Joni Mitchell's Hejira at Wilton's Music Hall for Poet in the City, sharing the stage with authors Amy Key and Vanessa Kisuule who will also be talking about their responses to Mitchell's work. 

I’m really excited to be sharing this first outing of a new way forward for me: sharing the insights I gained into Hejira’s symbolism from my recreation of the 4200-mile road trip on which it was written & performing my own interpolations of the work. I’m really looking forward to this & it would be lovely to see you there.
